The Relationship Paradigm Shift

So it has finally happened, Sheldon has altered the paradigm of his relationship with Amy on today’s episode of ‘The Big Bang Theory’. In a way it’s about time. The whole dancing around the issue was getting tiring however I may have found it tiring for another reason. The simple fact is that I do not like how Sheldon now has a girlfriend (it also doesn’t help that I’m not a fan of Amy).

Sheldon is clever enough to be above such things as a social life and yet he falls for the trickery like a common man.

Now don’t get me wrong, I still love the show and have no intention of abandoning it (I’m sure that makes the writers/producers/actors breathe a sigh of relief) I just try to ignore the story lines with Amy and Sheldon being together. So where to from here? I’m hoping Amy shall be written out of the show come the end of the season so that The Big Bang Theory can start getting back to season 1, 2 & 3 brilliance level.

Also, Penny and Leonard need to get back together.
